Aspire to Be Podcast, Episode 5: Mark Cropp
Join me for a conversation with Mark Cropp in Episode 5 of the Aspire to Be Podcast!
As an adult, I find no greater joy than being able to rely on my parents for advice in life and in business. Afterall, I attribute my success to having parents that helped me develop a work ethic and the fundamental skills needed to be successful. It might have started with washing dishes, peeling potatoes, or running the floor of The Avenue Restaurant, our family-run casual dining restaurant. It led me down an incredible path.
I am excited to be able to document my father’s journey from a corporate career to becoming a business owner. Mark is a seasoned corporate executive, building a successful career at Westinghouse/Schindler Elevator, and ultimately investing in himself as he pursued real estate interests that led to the purchase of The Avenue Restaurant.
As I continue to interview members of my family who have inspired me along my journey, I’m struck by the universal recurring themes in these conversations: people and process. This discussion with my father shared his approach, and I suspect parts of this episode will resonate with you too.
