Words have the power to motivate and influence people. The right words have the ability to inspire. Julie knew at a young age that she wanted to write a book but it took a little over 20 years her to write her story, an authentic perspective of an entrepreneur starting and growing a business. From her waitressing days working for the family business, to starting a career, then pursuing her dream of creating an award winning digital marketing agency, she shares real stories about what it’s really like to be an entrepreneur.
Writing this book started with a single word. A simple start– an idea to tell our story of The Avenue Restaurant and the lessons that it so richly taught Julie as she began and grew her career. For millions, a major component of the American dream is to start one’s own company and, ultimately, to become one’s own boss.
The question is—just how exactly does one do that?
Every successful entrepreneur has a unique story to tell. But the story in Dare to Become is especially intriguing and uplifting because Julie didn’t have major venture capital dollars to fall back on, nor did she have an MBA from Harvard.
Read insights from the pages of Dare to Become, an inspirational book about a journey that starts at the beginning.
